lostsailors:
we'll save the old and start again! best of both worlds. after all, a flower can only look pretty for so long before it has to wilt for another one to grow, right? or as pippin once put it to merry, "we can't live long on the heights!" no matter what happens, i have to say to this was a wonderful place! i'll miss it terribly, but there's still much discuss isn't there? i'm certain we can come up with more musings and questions.
we'll take our cue from our friend, ernil i pheriannath, he never stopped his mind meanderings.
'but i should like to know-' pippin began.
'mercy!' cried gandalf. 'if the giving of information is the to be the cure of your inquisitiveness, i shall spend all the rest of my days answering you. what more do you want to know?'
'the names of all the stars, and of all living things, and the whole history of middle-earth and over-heaven and of the sundering seas,' laughed pippin. 'of course! what less? ...'
stars and history? my... if there's the desire, there seems still to be much more discuss then!
and so it ends! the ernil i pheriannath thread, part one. what a lovely time that was
had by all, or at least on my part there was. desire for more ernil musing?
