i've seen all the movies, the fellowship at least twice, the two towers twice and the return of the king once (but i'm going to see it again!)

yes, pippin is my favorite character!

film questions

how do you think pippin was portrayed in the movie?
as a character that develops from a boy to a man, you can definitely see this if you compare pippin from the fellowship and pippin from the return of the king.

many felt pippin in the film came off as "stupid," do you agree?
this is what i love about the movies: pippin's character develops as the plot does. in the first movie, he doesn't always use common sense and did come off a little half-baked, but as we see the story continue, we also see pippin become braver, more responsible and maybe even more intelligent.

favourite scene or quote?
hmm... this is tough... i always laugh at the scene where elrond says 'you shall be... the fellowship... of the ring' and our silly pip says 'great... where are we going?'. i also love the second breakfast scene. but i think my favorite scene out of all the movies is in the return of the king when pippin sings. i almost cried in the theater.

hey! i think i recognize your name... didn't you sign my gbook once? ... i think you did! thank you! when you signed it i made up in my mind you were from finland. and in case you did not sign the book (entirely possible, my mind is going, i swear), erm, thank you for taking this survey! i laugh at the fellowship moment with elrond as well. i still to this day wait for elrond to say, "you shall be the fellowship of the ring... where's my camera?"
